We are seeking an experienced and committed Children’s Home Manager to lead a well-established 5-bed children’s residential home in Oldham, proudly rated Outstanding by Ofsted.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong, values-led manager to build on an already exceptional service and continue delivering the highest standards of care for children and young people.

The Role

The Children’s Home Manager will be responsible for:

• Overall leadership and management of a 5-bed residential children’s home

  
  

• Maintaining and further developing an Outstanding Ofsted standard

  
  

• Ensuring robust safeguarding practices and full regulatory compliance

  
  

• Leading, motivating, and developing a skilled and stable staff team

  
  

• Promoting a positive, nurturing, and trauma-informed environment

  
  

• Effective care planning, quality assurance, and partnership working

  
  

• Managing budgets, rotas, supervisions, and performance

  
  About You

  The successful candidate will have:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)

    
    

  • Proven experience managing or deputising in a children’s residential setting

    
    

  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and quality standards

    
    

  • Confident leadership and decision-making skills

    
    

  • A genuine commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children and young people
