We are looking for a reliable Chef to prepare and serve a variety of food for both site-based and external customers. All duties must be carried out in line with company policies and procedures, including ordering and HACCP processes.
As a Chef you'll:
Prepare food to required company standards, as outlined in initial and ongoing training
Complete online kitchen ordering accurately and on time
Follow and complete all HACCP and food safety processes
Support the Chef Manager in the day-to-day running of the catering operation
Work in accordance with role specifications for designated catering areas
Deliver professional and courteous customer service at all times
Assist across all areas of the catering operation as directed by line management
Attend team meetings when required, with adequate notice provided
Operate EPOS till systems
Clean, stock, and maintain on-site vending machines
Undertake lone working duties for ad hoc weekend breakfast and lunch services
Adhere to uniform and dress code standards
Comply with all health, safety, and food safety regulations
Follow site-based marketing and merchandising guidelines
Participate in all required site-based and role-specific training
What we're looking for:
A qualified or experienced Chef with a strong background in food preparation and service
Proven ability to prepare fresh food to consistent standards in a busy kitchen environment
Good working knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and health & safety regulations
Experience with kitchen ordering, stock control, and minimising waste
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for kitchen standards and service delivery
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable with lone working, including ad hoc weekend breakfast and lunch service
Flexible approach to duties and willingness to support across all areas of the catering operation
Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food quality, and presentation
