Telent are now looking for a Data Analyst to join the Network Services division, as part of the PMO team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on the prestigious Hinkley Point C (HPC) and Sizewell C Nuclear programmes, manipulating and creating critical data sets for our Project Management team and a wide range of stakeholders.

This is a HYBRID / AGILE role - 1 day per week at our Warwick HQ (CV34 5AH), 1-2 days per month at our Bridgwater office in Somerset, and the remainder working from home. A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel are required.

The successful and experienced Data Analyst will work with multiple internal stakeholders, using investigative and problem-solving skills to create and design solutions that make the best use of available technologies (QlikView, Qlik Sense, Power BI, MS SharePoint, MS Excel and MS Teams). You will analyse data and uncover trends that deliver actionable insight and drive meaningful change across Telent.

Data Analyst - What you'll do:

* Data preparation and analysis
* Present data and conclusions logically and concisely in the most appropriate format, including the design of data models and intuitive, functional user interfaces
* Manage, clean, abstract and aggregate data using a range of analytical techniques, including data mining, time series analysis, forecasting and modelling, to identify and predict trends
* Identify, collect and migrate data to and from a range of systems
* Manipulate and link different data sets as required
* Interpret and apply relevant data information security standards, policies and procedures
* Perform routine statistical analysis and ad-hoc queries, including the production of reports
* Database analysis and data modelling
* Design and create user interfaces and reports, presenting information in both detailed and management information styles
* Data validation and assistance with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of internal applications
* Provide a range of automated reports for stakeholders
* Work within tight schedules while meeting high standards of quality and professionalism

Data Analyst - Who you are:

You are a detail-driven and analytical professional with a strong background in data analysis and business intelligence, comfortable working with complex data sets and translating insight into clear, actionable outcomes. You enjoy collaborating with stakeholders at all levels, balancing technical expertise with strong communication skills. Self-motivated and adaptable, you thrive in fast-paced environments, take ownership of your work, and demonstrate a proactive approach to continuous improvement while upholding high standards of data quality, security and professionalism.

Data Analyst - Key requirements:

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply analytical techniques to deliver effective data-driven solutions
* Proficiency in software tools and techniques, including Microsoft Office (particularly MS Excel), Power BI and SQL-based systems
* Demonstrated numerical and mathematical skills through relevant qualifications or professional experience
* Data visualisation expertise, with the ability to present information clearly and compellingly through graphical representations
* Proven data analysis capability, including collating and managing data sets from multiple sources to support decision-making
* Insight and contextual awareness, with the ability to communicate analytical evidence clearly to varied audiences
* Experience working within constraints, understanding standards, security and data privacy requirements, and challenging constraints where appropriate
* A background in Business Intelligence with the ability to solve problems within a BI environment
* Hands-on experience with relational databases, data engineering or data science
* Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
* Demonstrates active support for change initiatives by adapting behaviours
* Flexibility in working hours when required
* A desire to go the extra mile
