More detail about the role As a Band 5 Nurse or Midwife, you will: Deliver safe, evidence-based neonatal care in line with national and local guidelines Support babies and families across a range of neonatal care settings Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team Communicate effectively with parents and carers, actively involving them in care Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to quality improvement and governance Participate in education, training and service development We are committed to your professional development and offer: A structured Neonatal Foundation Programme A comprehensive preceptorship programme for newly qualified staffOngoing training and development opportunities to support both personal and professional growth As part of your role, you will be expected to undertake the Qualified in Specialty (Neonatal) course within 12 months of appointment, supported by the Trust. We welcome applications from: Registered Nurses (Child or Adult) or Registered Midwives, with a valid NMC registration (or due to qualify) Individuals with experience of working with families who are keen to explore the dynamic environment of neonatal care Newly qualified or experienced Band 5 practitioners with a passion for neonatal and family-centred care Staff willing to work a rotational shift pattern including nights and weekends Previous neonatal experience is welcomed but not essential, as full training and support will be provided.
