We're working with a fantastic London-based college who are on the lookout for their next Interim ALS Manager to work closely with the Head of ALS to ensure high-quality, compliant and learner-focused support across the organisation.
You will be responsible for overseeing ALS provision to ensure it meets the requirements of the SEND Code of Practice, supports learners with EHCPs effectively, and delivers positive outcomes in retention, achievement and progression. The role includes managing the ALS annual cycle, staff deployment, timetabling, financial targets, and leading high-quality Annual Reviews.
The successful candidate will be an experienced leader within Further Education, with a strong understanding of SEND, funding methodologies and quality assurance. You will have a proven ability to manage teams, meet statutory deadlines, monitor learner progress, and work collaboratively with curriculum, English and Maths, and external agencies.
