Summary
The Role
Moss View Primary School is a small, nurturing specialist primary school supporting pupils with SEMH and SEND needs. We are seeking a caring and resilient Key Worker to join our team and provide 1:1 and small-group pastoral support to our pupils.
You will help children feel safe, supported, and ready to learn by building strong relationships and supporting their emotional wellbeing, behaviour, and engagement in school life.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small-group SEMH/SEND support
Build positive, trusting relationships with vulnerable pupils
Support emotional regulation, resilience, and independence
Help pupils access learning and engage in school life
Contribute to EHCPs and personalised support plans
Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
Model the school’s PRIDE values
About You
Experience working with children or young people (SEMH/SEND desirable)
Calm, empathetic, and consistent approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
