Cladding Machine Operative

Location: Walsall / Brownhills
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
Hours: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm

Working Hours
Monday – Thursday: 08:54 – 16:30
Friday: 08:54 – 13:30

Enhanced Overtime:

• Mon–Fri: +1/3

  
  

• Saturday: +1/2

  
  

• Sunday: double time

  
  Role Overview

  We are working with a leading engineering/manufacturing company seeking experienced Cladding Machine Operatives to join their production team. This hands-on role is ideal for candidates with experience in welding robots, spot welding, or industrial machine operation.

  The successful candidate will operate and maintain cladding machinery, produce high-quality components, and ensure machines run efficiently and safely.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain 360° cladding machines

    
    

  • Change consumables such as tips/nozzles

    
    

  • Process tubes through linishers

    
    

  • Monitor quality and make minor machine adjustments

    
    

  • Follow strict health & safety procedures

    
    

  • Support team objectives and maintain a clean, organised workspace

    
    Candidate Requirements

    • Experience with cladding machines, welding robots, or spot welding (essential)

      
      

    • Mechanical awareness and attention to detail

      
      

    • Quality-focused and reliable team player

      
      

    • Ability to work safely in a production environment
