The Role – Graduate Early Years Teaching Assistant
As a Graduate Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will work within Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and early Key Stage 1 settings, supporting children’s learning through play-based and structured activities. You will assist class teachers with daily routines, deliver targeted support to small groups and individual pupils, and help create a safe, engaging learning environment.
You will support children’s development across key areas including communication and language, early literacy and numeracy, social skills, and emotional wellbeing. This role places a strong emphasis on nurturing confidence, independence, and curiosity in young learners.
This Graduate Early Years Teaching Assistant role is particularly well suited to graduates with a background in Early Childhood Studies or Primary Education, though other relevant degrees will also be considered.
