Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our well established IBD Specialist Nursing Team within the Gastroenterology Department at UHD. In line with the exciting changes at UHD, the successful candidate will be expected to work cross site if needed.
We are looking for a highly motivated, confident and enthusiastic nurse who will be an integral part of our supportive IBD nursing service. A nurse prescriber (NMP) is desirable but not essential.
The successful applicant will work closely with the current IBD Nursing team and MDT to provide excellent, specialised nursing care and support for patients with IBD. Duties will include participation in nurse clinics and virtual outpatient, telephone and biologic reviews.
The successful applicant will need to have Gastroenterology, IBD or related experience, with excellent communication and IT skills. You should be self-motivated with the ability to work under your own initiative, in collaboration with the MDT team.
This is a part-time permanent position offered at 31.5 hours however alternative hours can be considered. The post will suit a dynamic and motivated nurse with a desire to develop their clinical skills in this area, providing an excellent opportunity to do so within an established IBD specialist nursing team.
This role requires an active UK NMC Registration + NMP
