About the role:
The Business Coordinator is a key part of the on-site team, helping to deliver a great experience for clients, colleagues and partners while supporting both non-racing and racing business at the racecourse.
As the main on-site point of contact, you’ll build strong relationships with the regional sales hub, delivery teams and clients, guiding commercial bookings from initial enquiry through to delivery and ensuring clear communication and excellent service at every stage.
Working closely with the Senior Business Coordinator, you’ll support all on-site commercial activity; welcoming clients on show-rounds, representing the venue, coordinating local suppliers, and making sure sales and marketing materials are current, professional and well presented, alongside keeping systems and records up to date.
Some responsibilities for the successful Business Coordinator include (but not limited to):
Act as the professional on-site point of contact for clients, coordinating hospitality, raceday and EVH activity.
Liaise with clients, sales, delivery, operations and finance teams to ensure smooth event delivery and accurate invoicing.
Manage selected client accounts and handle direct-to-site enquiries with clear, timely communication.
Support pre-raceday and pre-event planning, briefings and on-site setup.
Coordinate sponsorship and marketing collateral, ensuring materials are current and well presented.
Represent the racecourse within the local community.
Undertake general business support tasks in line with the role.

The ideal Business Coordinator will:
Have experience in business or commercial coordination, client management, or business development.
Be highly organised, able to juggle multiple projects and stakeholders with ease.
Confidently showcase the venue or events, delivering memorable client experiences.
Build strong relationships across teams and with high-value clients, acting as the on-site point of contact.
Be self-motivated, proactive, and ready to take on a variety of tasks with a can-do attitude.
Bring strong IT, numeracy, and communication skills; sales experience is a plus.
