Summary
We are looking for a Cook to join our Care home team at Cysgod y Gaer Residential home, Corwen.
Cysgod y Gaer aims to provide high quality needs led residential and respite care to support older people in the Corwen area and their carers.
Working in a care home as a cook can be quite different to some other catering positions but is still an enjoyable and satisfying place to work. The hours are more sociable, and you may have the opportunity to get to know the individuals. The job can be a very rewarding experience working in the care home environment with steady hours and set shift patterns of 8am-5pm but there will be weekend working, of every other weekend on a rota basis. This is a good choice for people with a family.
The successful candidate will be required to provide high standard of meal provision for Cysgod y Gaer residents , whilst maintaining the highest standards of food safety as per procedures and HACCP at all times.
Appointment subject to Disclosure & Barring Service Check and satisfactory references.
If you would like to discuss any aspect of the post, please call Catherine Roberts (Registered Manager) 01490 412394
