A friendly, bright, lady in the Winfield area of Darlington, who enjoys arts and crafts is looking for a personal assistant to support her in her home and to access the community.
Duties are:
To provide support with personal care (wash hair)
Supervise medication
Meal preparation
Light domestic duties.
Hours:
Monday - Friday, except bank holidays for 16.5 hours per week (4 hour block session once a week to support to go to local hospice).
The employer is happy for this to be a job share, if a suitable candite cannot fulfil all the hours.
Rate:
National minimum wage requirement for trial period only, if successful after trial period an increase to £13.00 per hour. Mileage plus any expenses will be paid by the employer with prior agreement.
Essential:
The P.A must be caring reliable, trustworthy and compassionate. DBS check is a must but will be paid for by the employer.
Preferable:
A driver preferred but not essential. No previous experience is necessary, full training would be given.
