About the role
We are seeking a highly organised, self-motivated and charismatic Community Recruiter/Engagement Officer to help support our local recruitment efforts. You will have the opportunity to build impactful relationships within the community to help drive brand awareness and to support more people moving into a career in care.
The Recruitment Marketing team supports our high volume Carer Acquisition team to hire Professional Carers nationwide. This role is to help further establish and grow offline recruitment channels in the local communities that we serve.
Responsibilities

Work with a small cohort (3-5 branches, that may change depending on business need) of branches to grow their offline candidate pool, these are traditionally branches that struggle to recruit via channels such as job boards so you'll need to think outside of the box!

Be based in our care branches locally to you depending on business need - there will be a requirement for frequent travel in the role to visit branches and to attend events where required.

Build and maintain strong local community ties to ensure a steady pipeline of opportunities.

Liaise with branches and Regional Relationship Managers to ensure key requirements are understood so that partners can identify the most suitable candidates.

Manage candidates through the recruitment process, including Interviewing candidates in a timely manner (sometimes in-person) and supporting with the orientation/compliance process where needed

Organise, source and attend all local events in the community - branch event champion!

Support branches to understand the importance of locally managed attraction strategies such as their local facebook page or employee referral scheme

Review data and performance of local campaigns on an ongoing basis

Reporting and providing performance feedback weekly

Creating engaging and thorough material to discuss performance on branch visits/calls

Be a longer-term thinker! We want you to be the voice for care locally by attending school talks, fairs, University/College job fairs, sector days etc. as required, to attract people to a career in care

Support the central marketing function to source and create case studies/stories for local PR opportunities to drive brand awareness

Ensure a highly positive and engaging experience for our Cares, which will play a pivotal role in long-term retention and overall job satisfaction in the branches you support

Ultimately become a key member of the branch teams you support - being the on the ground company voice for recruitment and brand awareness more generally
Qualifications and Skills

Being a driver with your own vehicle is essential for this role.

Proven success/experience in a fast-paced recruitment/engagement environment

Experience working within care or a healthcare setting desirable

Public speaking - happy to attend events and comfortable presenting to groups/individuals about care roles

Event management - Skills in planning, booking and coordination of events

Account management - experience in sourcing and liaising with a host of internal and external stakeholders
