Summary
Your day-to-day role will be supporting our team with first line queries from all stakeholders in relation to people, payroll & recruitment queries and support requests. Our aim is to provide advice and guidance that is timely, professional, accurate and confidential - in line with our ‘EACH model framework’. You will also play a pivotal part in carrying out HR, payroll, pension and recruitment related tasks within the People Services Team.
Our People Services Team sits within our wider People and Culture service. We strive to provide a comprehensive range of HR & Payroll related services across our diverse workforce. It’s fast paced work, in a constantly changing environment where a flexible approach is required.
Who are we looking for?
Someone with:
Experience in HR, payroll or customer services (advantageous).
An understanding of HR/Payroll policies and how to process employment data.
The Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Strong data entry accuracy and excellent communication skills.
Confidence in building effective relationships and delivering great customer service.
High organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and good time management.
Initiative, problem solving skills and works well as part of a team.
A curious, enthusiastic and committed mindset to providing an efficient support service.
Flexible and adaptability when working with a diverse range of services.
Being comfortable in a busy, fast paced environment with varied demands.
A proactive, Solutions focused approach.
The successful candidate will play a key role in People Services, ensuring that they and the team provide a high standard of customer service to key stakeholders. This role can be demanding and is always busy. You will receive full training and support from friendly experienced staff.
We are seeking a full-time, permanent team member to join our People Services Team, with the possibility of a further fixed‑term vacancy also becoming available.
