Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Northern Education Trust, The Blyth Academy is seeking to appoint a Learning Resource Centre Administrator. The successful candidate will manage and encourage students to use the Learning Resource Centre. You will support the teaching and learning by ensuring the library is an effective support to the curriculum. You will support the curriculum within departments through students use of the Learning Resource Centre and the provision and range of resources on offer. You will support literacy across the curriculum by promoting reading for pleasure with students across the academy by showcasing the range and genres of books on offer.

Contract Type:Permanent

Salary Range: Grade 4, SCP 10-12, FTE salary £27,694.00 - £28,598.00, pro rata salary £24,468.00 - £25,266.00

Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year they are subject to an equated salary adjustment

Working Type:Part Time (37 hours, 39 working weeks, 45.942 paid weeks)

Base:The Blyth Academy, Chase Farm Drive, Blyth, NE24 4JP

Please note: the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the rehabilitation of offender’s act 1974. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
