Your Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery: Teach pre-planned lessons with energy and enthusiasm.

  • Adaptability: Tailor your approach on the fly to meet the diverse needs of your pupils.

  • Collaboration: Partner effectively with classroom Teaching Assistants to maximise student support.

  • Resourcefulness: Think on your feet! Be ready to lead the class if work isn't set or needs adjusting.

  • Feedback: Ensure all work is marked in a timely manner with clear, constructive feedback for the regular teacher.

  • Environment: Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and a positive, safe learning atmosphere.

What We're Looking For
  • Qualifications: A relevant degree and teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE).

  • Status: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred, but we warmly welcome applications from NQTs/ECTs.

  • Experience: Proven experience teaching within a UK primary school setting.

  • Compliance: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).

  • Attitude: A commitment to the role and a positive, "can-do" approach to every school day.
