The Role

Are you an electrically-driven engineer who thrives on variety? We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team. You'll be the go-to person for ensuring our facility stays at peak performance, tackling everything from complex PLC faults to routine mechanical wear-and-tear.

This isn't just a "fix it when it breaks" role. You will play a key part in our Preventative Maintenance (PPM) strategy and drive continuous improvement projects across the site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical Mastery: Fault finding, repair, and installation of electrical systems, including motors, inverters, and control panels.

  • Mechanical Support: Handling bearings, chains, pneumatics, and hydraulics when the job requires it.

  • PPM & Reactive: Executing scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime and responding rapidly to emergency breakdowns.

  • Compliance: Ensuring all work meets 18th Edition (or latest) standards and strict Health & Safety protocols.

What You'll Bring
  • Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

  • Certification: 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.

Mindset: A logical approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable working with both modern automated tech and older "legacy" machinery.
