Grade: Grade D £25,989 to £28,142
Actual Salary: Grade D, £19,088 to £20,669
Contract Type: Full time (32.5 hours per week, term time only) Permanent
Start Date: 20/04/26 (or earlier if possible)
The Governors, staff and children of St Mary’s CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant. This will initially be in EYFS.
Our pupils are welcoming, diverse and eager to learn. They require a teaching assistant who will nurture their potential, champion high standards and bring out the best in every child.
The candidates needs to:
have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working with children of primary school age or NVQ 2 or equivalent in teaching assistance
have experience of working within the Primary phase
have high expectations for all children
have the ability to build and maintain successful relationships with pupils, treating them with respect and kindness, and demonstrating consideration for their development as learners
demonstrate high standards of spoken and written English
work as part of an effective team
carry out administrative tasks to a good standard, including using ICT
be prepared to contribute to all aspects of school life
