The Role
Are you looking for challenge where you can make a difference? Working independently in a small and busy team you will deliver benefits advice helping customers maximise their income. The main focus of your work will be managing an individual caseload, representing customers in person at first tier tribunals and taking appropriate cases to the Upper Tribunal.
About You
You will have a detailed knowledge of social security legislation and the appeals process and be able to confidently represent and advocate for clients at appeal hearings.
You will be able to work under pressure, juggling demands and priorities and meeting deadlines. You will have excellent casework skills, keeping customers informed and records up to date and will be confident and competent in using IT applications to support your casework activity.
