My client is looking for a Network Engineer / Tooling SME to support design, deployment, and optimisation of integrations between network observability tools and ITSM platforms. The role requires strong network engineering fundamentals and hands‑on tooling expertise across on‑prem and cloud environments.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer / Tooling SME.
- Strong background in network engineering and operational support environments.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing integrations between network monitoring tools and ITSM platforms (e.g. ServiceNow).
- Expertise configuring and optimising network observability tools across on prem and cloud platforms.
- Proficiency with: SolarWinds (on prem and cloud observability), Cisco & Meraki networking solutions and Palo Alto Strata Cloud Manager
- Ability to collaborate effectively with network engineering and operations teams.
- Capable of providing tooling SME guidance, best practices, and operational recommendations.
Nice to have:
- Experience working in or supporting a Network Operations / Operations Centre.
- Exposure to automation, event correlation, or alert optimisation within ITSM platforms.
