Summary

Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Premises Team as a caretaker at Therfield School. Candidates should ideally be experienced in site maintenance and building services with basic carpentry, painting and decorating skills.
Applications are particularly welcomed from aspiring and experienced individuals with a skill set which may also include electrical and plumbing experience
You will need to be a self-starter and able to demonstrate a practical and confident approach, as this role involves some lone working as well as working with students.
A current driving licence is essential for this role.
Employment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the day-to-day care of the school site while also providing technical and practical support within the Design Technology department. You’ll help keep the school safe, secure and welcoming, carry out maintenance and repairs, support DT lessons, and assist with events and activities across the school.
