Summary
Pencoedtre is currently going through an exciting transformation following a challenging few years which has been fully documented in the press. Significant organisational change has already taken place, making the school an exciting and vibrant place to develop your career. - A new Executive Head and Head of School have been appointed with extensive experience in school improvement. - The professional development programme will mirror the programme at Whitmore High School which received two case studies in its recent inspection, one for outstanding professional development. - The Whitmore High School professional development lead has been seconded to Pencoedtre to ensure new staff receive the very best support. They are fully supported by two outstanding lead practitioners who will work extensively with new staff. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and hardworking Learning Support Assistant to work within our developing ALN team to support the delivery of interventions. This opportunity has arisen following a significant round of recruitment including a recently appointed new ALNCo at Pencoedtre. We continue, as a school, to make innovative changes to continue our drive for school improvement and maximise the opportunities for the children and young people in our school. The successful candidate will be joining an enthusiastic, committed, supportive and solution-focused team.
