Summary

Are you passionate about making a difference and improving our Neighbourhoods?We are currently recruiting for a Community Safety Co-ordinator to join our friendly and supportive team. From day one, you will be part of a well-respected and collaborative team, where you will help the team by providing administration and business support.

Working alongside the Community Safety Manager and Officers, you will support in co-ordinating surgeries, case escalations and the co-ordination of information for legal action. As such, you will have the opportunity to develop and grow within a high-performing team.

This role is on a fixed-term contract until no later than April 2027.

What could you be doing as one of our Community Safety Co-ordinators?
-Providing administration support to Community Safety team, including co-ordinating information required to progress a case for legal action.

-Assisting the team to ensure compliance access information is well maintained and shared with relevant stakeholders.

-Ensuring case escalations are managed and progressed in a timely manner. You will also liaise with solicitors and courts to ensure case progression.

-Updating trackers in Excel and using these trackers to provide information to the rest of the team.

-Supporting with the drafting of witness statement and relevant documents.

-Working with our systems to raise purchase orders, as well as checking the accuracy of these and amending where necessary.

-Overseeing e-mail accounts, ensuring a timely response to queries.

What are some things that we need from you?
-Demonstrable experience in an administrative role. This would ideally be gained in the Housing sector, however applicants from other sectors will be considered.

-Experience with using Microsoft Office packages, with particularly good working knowledge of Excel.

-The ability to organise and prioritise your workload under pressure.

-Detail focussed approach to your workload.

-You will be someone who takes responsibility for delivering an excellent service, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people.

-There is a requirement for some office-based working on occasion, so candidates will need to be within a commutable distance.

-This role will require a basic DBS check.
