Summary
Are you an ambitious and highly motivated individual looking to obtain more experience within the NHS, then look no further. The Pharmacy Directorate require an organised person with a flexible and adaptable approach in undertaking a busy work schedule to work both within the Pharmacy Directorate Office and the Pharmacy Procurement Team. You will need to be able to work in a calm, logical and methodical way but be able to multi-task whilst dealing with frequent interruptions and you must possess effective communication skills. The ability to work on your own initiative is required along with good basic education and RSA Word Processing. The ability to use Microsoft office is essential to allow you to produce the standard or work required. Experience of minute taking would be an advantage. The Pharmacy Directorate is a friendly department. Education and qualifications Good general education NVQ2/RSA2 word processing or equivalent Experience Administration/clerical background Skills, Ability & Knowledge Ability to communicate with a wide range of people Ability to work as a team member and have the ability to work on own initiative, completing allocated work and ensuring rotas are complied with. Good organisational skills Ability to deal confidently and directly with all members of healthcare teams and members of the public. Ability to work accurately and under pressure. Ability to work unsupervised and within departmental guidelines/SOPs Pride in establishing and maintaining high standards of work and attention to detail Computer literate with good general keyboard skills, for using the pharmacy computer systems, including ordering, receiving and stock and rectifying stock discrepancies.
