About the role

In this critical role, you will facilitate the smooth functioning of the University’s senior team by managing diaries, coordinating communications, and anticipating needs with discretion and precision.

You will conduct yourself with utmost professionalism: handling confidential information with integrity, balancing competing priorities, and making sound judgements on behalf of the Executive. This is a demanding role, but your proactive approach and calmness under pressure will enable you to make a real difference at the heart of the University.

Key Responsibilities:
* Acting as the first point of contact for all internal and external queries by MS Teams, email and in person
* Managing complex diary demands
* Assisting with travel planning and itinerary management
* Drafting standard correspondence and minuting meetings
* Commissioning and overseeing the quality of briefing material
* Managing financial transactions (e.g. processing expenses and purchasing)
* Organising documents and files
* Coordinating visits and events

About you

We’re looking for someone with:
* exceptional organisational skills
* strong written and verbal communication
* the ability to multitask and prioritise
* the ability to handle sensitive/confidential information
* a professional and positive approach
* excellent IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Further information
