3 DAYS OFFICE 2 DAYS REMOTE,
We are looking for an Assistant Team Manager to join our Early Help and Assessment Team. This role includes working within our Multi Agency Hub, making frontline decisions in order to safeguard Children and Families.
It also includes the supervision, mentoring and development of staff in order to continue our programme of practice development and improvement of outcomes for children.
As part of the managment team, the role also involves chairing and minuting strategy discussions when required and keeping our database appropriately updated.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-
To work with the EHAT management team and IAA workers as part of the decision making and risk assessment oversight for Duty to Report forms and issues referred into Children Services;
Provide a high quality of professional social work knowledge and expertise to a team of social workers, to include supervision, group meetings, assisted fieldwork, attendance in court, case audits and reviews to assist the team in ensuring that it carries out its core tasks to a high standard.
Charing strategy discussion meetings when needed and ensuirng the data based is updated to reflect
Provide coaching and mentoring support to social workers, including professional development processes. This includes provide staff supervision that ensures case progression and timely decision making.
To support social workers to devise and review agreed plans to safeguard children and families to improve outcomes .
Maintain awareness of changes in legislation and related policies and practices and ensure all social work staff are informed of these changes to enable consistent and timely implementation.
THIS IS AN EXCITING POSITION TO WORK IN A CLOSE KNIT MANAGEMENT TEAM IN THE EARLY HELP & ASSESSMENT TEAM.
PREV EXPERIENCE IN A MASH SETTING UNDERTAKING SENIOR/ASSISTANT TM TASKS AND WORKING CLOSELY WITH THE IAA WORKERS IS ESSENTIAL.
3 DAYS OFFICE, MUST LIVE WITHIN 1 HOUR MAX FROM OFFICE, WORKERS LIVING ELSWHERE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED
