Summary
Forklift Driver required for a Cat Food Production Facility in HP18 area.
A fantastic opportunity has become available to join a Cat Food Production Facility in the Long Crendon. We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Driver.
Shifts & Pay:
* Monday - Friday, 08:00-16:00
* 30‑minute break deducted per shift
* £14.50 per hour
* Long term work available
* Free onsite parking
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate Forklift Truck (Bendi/Flexi)
* Load and unload vehicles, ensuring goods are handled securely
* Move stock and materials around the warehouse or production area
* Complete scanning, logging, and basic paperwork to maintain accurate stock records
* Conduct daily pre‑use checks on the FLT and report any defects
* Follow all site health & safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment
Also required to perform Production Operative duties as and when needed, including tasks such as picking and packing, moving pallets, conducting quality checks, and supporting general production activities
Skills & Requirements
* Holding a valid, accredited bodies such as RTITB, or equivalent (Bendi/Flexi) FLT licence
* Confident handling of (Bendi/Flexi) FLT truck
* Accurate loading, unloading, stacking, and pallet movement
* Ability to manoeuvre in tight warehouse aisles
* Performing pre‑use safety checks (brakes, forks, hydraulics, tyres)
Safety & Compliance
* Strong awareness of H&S regulations
* Knowledge of PPE requirements
* Ability to follow site rules, traffic routes, and hazard markings
* Reporting defects or unsafe conditions
