The Role: Kitchen Assistant
We’re looking for a reliable and friendly Kitchen Assistant to support our catering team. You'll help keep our kitchen clean, safe, and organised, ensuring our residents enjoy delicious meals in a welcoming atmosphere.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Washing dishes, utensils, and equipment
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness to high hygiene standards
- Helping to plate and serve meals or prepare trays
- Interacting warmly with residents during mealtimes
- Ensuring proper food storage and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a kitchen is helpful but not essential - full training provided
A positive attitude and team spirit
Basic knowledge of food hygiene (or willingness to learn)
Weekend availability
Applicants must be 18+
A DBS check is required
