Summary
Our client, based in Sutton Coldfield area requires a Stock Controller person with production supervising experience. Possible permanent position following a successful trial period. As a Stock Control person you will be a key member of the team, taking accountability for all crucial stock counting activities, whilst ensuring accuracy of goods, receipts, transactions and supplier claims. You will ensure that high standards are maintained and efficient processes are in place for stock quality and rotation so that we can continue to deliver an efficient, safe and vital service.
Hours, Days & Pay for a Stock Controller
- Monday to Thursday 08.00 - 17.00, Friday 08.00 - 16.00
- £12.21 per hour

Key Duties as Stock Controller:
- Responsible for the stock control of all finished pack stock and raw materials
- See and check every delivery from the supplier and put them to database
- Process stock transfer notes
- Input orders into the system after they have been fully signed and checked off
- Conduct random order picking order checks and communicate any stock issues or shortage
- Liaising with warehouse team
- Implement controls to minimise stock errors
Also with the production supervising duties you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing production department, ensure production department is running smoothly
- Making sure operatives in Production are provided with the correct components
- Production machines are set up correctly and checked before use
- Ensure Production SOP`s are followed correctly
