Pay: £14.30 - £16.00 per hour

Inspire EHC is looking for a compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist SEN school near Bury St Edmunds. You will support pupils with SEMH, Autism and trauma-related needs using trauma‑informed approaches that help them feel safe, understood and ready to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
- Support emotional regulation using trauma-informed strategies
- Model calm, consistent behaviour
- Adapt learning activities to individual needs
- Work with teachers, SENCO and therapists on personalised support plans
- Encourage independence and celebrate progress
About You
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4/C or equivalent)
- Experience with SEMH, Autism or trauma needs
- Calm, empathetic and resilient
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to commute to Bury St Edmunds
