Summary

Production Operatives - Night Shift

Ilfracombe, North Devon | £16.89 per hour (£12.70 + shift allowance) | Full-Time | Temporary Ongoing

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Production Operatives for an established global leader within the Life Sciences sector, based in Ilfracombe, North Devon. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that values development, quality, and making a real difference to people's lives. Full training is provided, and no previous experience is required.

Key Duties

  • Manufacturing medical-grade filters using machinery and hand assembly techniques.

  • Supporting the full production lifecycle of medical filtration devices.

  • Carrying out visual and manual quality inspections to ensure products meet strict standards.

  • Completing audited pharmaceutical paperwork accurately (approximately 50% of the role).

  • Boxing and packaging finished products.

  • Adhering to clean room procedures at all times.

Requirements

  • Outstanding attention to detail with a practical, common-sense approach.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Good numeracy and literacy skills for accurate paperwork completion.

  • High levels of manual dexterity.

  • Ability to stand for the full shift (minus two paid breaks).

  • Comfortable working under pressure and contributing as part of a team.

Hours & Pay

  • Shift Pattern: 8-hour night shifts.

  • Monday-Thursday: 11.45pm-7.45am.

  • Friday: 9.45pm-4.45am.

  • Pay Rate: £16.89 per hour (£12.70 plus shift allowance).
