We’re AmTrust International, an insurance business headquartered in London, employing more than 1900 people in 13 countries. As part of a global group, we work creatively to develop bespoke insurance solutions for leading financial institutions, retailers and manufacturers both internationally and globally.
This is an opportunity to work in a high‑impact role where conduct risk and Consumer Duty genuinely matter. As the Conduct Risk Officer, you will be:
Identifying, assessing and managing conduct risks across the business
Supporting the embedding of Consumer Duty, using data and MI to review fair value, consumer understanding and outcomes.
Designing and delivering conduct monitoring, reporting and assurance activity
Building strong working relationships across Compliance, Risk, Complaints, Underwriting and Claims. Turning insight into clear, practical guidance for first‑line teams
Successful candidates will have a strong working knowledge of conduct risk and Consumer Duty, gained either through direct conduct or compliance experience, or via complaints or assurance-based roles. Previous experience within the insurance sector is essential.
In addition to this we are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce clear, well‑structured reports and comfortable working to both planned and short‑notice deadlines. The ability to work autonomously, apply sound judgement, collaborate effectively across the business and communicate clearly at all levels will be key to success in this role.
