This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in the beautiful area of Daventry, Northamptonshire.
Location: Daventry
Salary: up to £33,270 per hour
Role type: Permanent - RTW in the UK required
Shifts: Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm
About the Role:
We are currently seeking Robot Welders to join our client, a respected and well-established manufacturer of trailers. This is more than just a job - it's a chance to become a vital part of a high-performing team in a dynamic and stable working environment.
Duties:
Set up and operate robotic welding machines according to job specifications and production schedules.
Load and unload parts into welding fixtures and ensure proper alignment.
Monitor welding operations to ensure quality and consistency.
Inspect finished welds for defects using visual checks and measuring tools.
Adjust machine settings and parameters to optimize weld quality and efficiency.
Perform routine maintenance on robotic welding equipment and report any malfunctions.
Requirements:
Proven experience in robotic welding operations (e.g., MIG, TIG, or spot welding)
Familiarity with robotic welding systems (e.g., ABB, Fanuc, KUKA, or similar)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding blueprints
Understanding of welding codes and standards
Basic knowledge of robot programming and troubleshooting
Experience with quality control and inspection processes
