Role information:
Our client is currently recruiting for a highly organised and competent Scrum Master to oversee the scrum team and all the related activities. The Scrum Master's responsibilities include facilitating daily scrums, handling sprint planning, and resolving conflicts within the team. The ideal candidate should be well versed in agile methodologies and scrum techniques, with excellent communication and team leadership skills. Ultimately, the Scrum Master should be able to foster a collaborative and transparent environment, ensuring the team's progress towards the set goals.
Responsibilities:
*You will be guiding and coaching the team towards the goal of increasing productivity
*You will organise and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and sprint and release planning
*You will help the team to clear obstacles and establish an environment where the team can be effective
*You will be addressing team dynamics and ensuring a good relationship between the team and product owner as well as others outside the team
*You will protect the team from outside interruptions and distractions
*You will track project processes, deliverables and financials
*You will prepare and presenting reports on the progress and success of projects
*You will ensure good and clear dialogue between the scrum team and the project manager
Qualifications/Experience
*All candidates MUST have proven experience as a Scrum Master in a software development team.
*You will have strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules, and practices.
*You will have familiarity with software development.
*All candidates MUST have knowledge of other Agile approaches such as Kanban, Lean, etc.
*You will have excellent leadership and mentoring skills. Aswell as strong problem solving and conflict resolution ability.
*You will have outstanding communication and presentation skills
*All candidates MUST be Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
*All candidates are to hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field. (Please note candidates who do not hold a degree but have proven years of experience maybe considered)
