About The Role
A well‑established specialist SEND school in Rugby is looking for caring, enthusiastic, and resilient SEN Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated team. This setting supports children and young people with a wide range of additional needs, including autism, learning difficulties, communication needs, and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to pupils with diverse SEND needs
- Assist with personalised learning plans and adapted curriculum activities
- Support communication, sensory regulation, and emotional wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEND (school, care, youth work, or similar)
- A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
- Willingness to undertake training and develop specialist skills
