Hourly Rate: £12.60 per hour
Hours: Part-time – 8 hours per week
My name is Megan, and I am looking for a female Personal Assistant / Support Worker to support me in enjoying social activities, days out, and going for lunch. I am in my 30s, live independently, and am looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, and supportive.
In this role, you will support me with a range of activities that help me enjoy day to day life. This may include going out for lunch or on days out, attending appointments, and spending time at home taking part in activities I enjoy. You will also provide practical support, including moving and assisting using a tracking hoist, as well as preparing meals and snacks. You will play a key role in providing both practical and social support, helping me to maintain my independence and enjoy a fulfilling lifestyle.
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
• Energetic, friendly, and confident
• Caring, patient, and reliable
• Have a good sense of humour
• Comfortable supporting someone to live life in their own way
• Experienced in care/support work (preferred, but not essential as training can be provided)
You must:
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Be confident driving a manual mobility vehicle
Hours & Working Pattern
• 8 hours per week – 2 days per week with potential opportunity to increase hours in the near future
• Tuesday & Thursday 1pm – 5pm (some weekend working will also be required but can be discussed at interview)
Flexibility is required, as support may be needed for medical appointments or occasional changes to shift times. Any variations will be discussed in advance and agreed where possible.
Pay
• £12.60 per hour
