Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer
Central London & Sutton | Mobile South
Equans is looking for an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join our Corporate Sector - Mobile South team. This is a great opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of client sites, delivering high‑quality HVAC maintenance in a professional, safety‑focused environment.
The RoleReporting to the Technical A/C Manager, you will be responsible for delivering planned and preventative maintenance, as well as reactive breakdown support, across multiple customer sites. You will play a key role in building strong working relationships with clients and ensuring service delivery meets contractual and professional standards.
- Working hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00-17:00
- Occasional late shifts and weekend work (additional shift allowance paid)
- Participation in an on‑call rota
- Mobile role covering Central London and Sutton
- Deliver HVAC planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and safely
- Ensure all works are completed in line with service agreements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer representatives
- Accurately record works using a CAFM system
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and wider contract teams
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
You will be a qualified and experienced Air Conditioning Engineer with a strong background in facilities management and mobile service delivery.
Essential:
- Apprenticeship in Air Conditioning or Refrigeration
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
- Minimum 5 years' post‑qualification experience
- Proven experience in a similar mobile engineering role
- Experience using a CAFM system
- Strong teamwork and customer‑focused approach
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Solid track record within Facilities Management
Desirable:
- PASMA and IPAF
- IET 18th Edition
- Broader technical HVAC exposure
