Position: Chef at Sodexo, JRDC Waterloo Lines, Warminster.
Join Sodexo in a unique and rewarding catering role within a Ministry of Defence (MOD) environment. You’ll work alongside military personnel, preparing high-quality meals and supporting a range of exciting functions. What you’ll do:Assist with the preparation, cooking, and service of meals in a busy kitchen environment
Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene, ensuring full compliance with EHO guidelines
Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding service
Prepare and serve meals to military personnel, consistently achieving high standards
Oversee kitchen cleanliness and ensure sanitation best practices are always followed
Support high-profile events and special functions, showcasing your culinary expertise
Participate in bulk cooking, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation
Professional chef or cook experience within a catering or hospitality environment
Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, team-focused setting
A genuine passion for cooking and delivering excellent service
Experience in military or government catering environments
IOSH qualification or equivalent
Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Recognised culinary qualifications (City & Guilds 706/1 & 2, NVQ Level 2/3)
