- Deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum following provided plans
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual learners
- Assess and record pupil progress when required
- Communicate effectively with school staff and contribute to wider school life during longer‑term placements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 curriculum areas
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Adaptable across different year groups and school environments
- Positive, professional, and committed to high‑quality teaching
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
