Job Description
A dog loving carer is required to support a very intelligent 37-year-old lady. The carer must be flexible, confident, and happy to go out and about. The role includes using the individual’s Motability automatic car and, once settled, may involve accompanying her on holidays.
Roles and Responsibilities
Providing personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and undressing
Supporting with eating
Taking the individual out and about in the community
Attending hospital and other appointments
Supporting social and leisure activities
Specific Requirements
Female applicants only – due to the personal care needs of the individual, this is considered a genuine occupational requirement
Driver essential – ability to use the individual’s car
Dog lover essential
Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours
Required Training / Experience
Experience with personal care is desirable
A flexible and positive attitude is essential
