Job Description – Head Chef (Hyderabadi Cuisine)
The Head Chef will be responsible for leading the kitchen operations of an Indian takeaway specialising in authentic Hyderabadi cuisine. The role includes planning and preparing traditional dishes such as Hyderabadi biryani, curries, kebabs, and tandoori items while maintaining high standards of taste, consistency, and presentation. The Head Chef will manage food preparation, portion control, stock ordering, and cost management, ensuring minimal waste and efficient kitchen operations.
The successful candidate will supervise and train kitchen staff, develop menus, maintain hygiene and food safety standards in line with UK regulations, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality food for takeaway and delivery services. Strong knowledge of spices, traditional cooking methods, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment is essential.
