Summary
Maltby Learning Trust is seeking a motivated and committed individual with strong administrative skills to work closely with the Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SEND Co) in our Primary Academies. The successful candidate will assist the two Primary SEND Coordinators by supporting the administration of the SEND system, including arranging meetings, completing paperwork for referrals and statutory assessments and liaising with parents and outside agencies. They will enable the SENDCos to focus on working with children and developing the strategies which will help to transform children's life chances. The successful candidate will be a vital part of ensuring our most vulnerable pupils gain the support they need to access education. They must be highly organised, resilient and have strong communication skills. The successful candidate will be part of a highly skilled SEND team who is passionately committed to the young people of the Maltby Learning Trust schools. They will build an understanding of SEND processes and the legal framework in which they sit. This role will be based in the Maltby Learning Trust head office (Maltby Grammar Business Hub), but will be expected to operate from the Primary Academies as required.
