We are recruiting Early Career Teachers across multiple secondary schools in Essex for September starts, covering a wide range of subjects. These roles are ideal for ECTs seeking a structured induction, high-quality mentoring, and a long-term career pathway.
The Role
As an Early Career Teacher, you will join a supportive department and benefit from a fully structured ECT induction programme, reduced timetable, and ongoing professional development.
You’ll be teaching your specialist subject at KS3 and KS4 (with KS5 opportunities available in some schools), while developing your classroom practice in a positive, well-led environment.
We are currently seeing strong demand for ECTs in:
English | Maths | Science | Humanities | MFL | PE | Computer Science etc
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging, well-planned lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEN
• Work collaboratively with experienced teachers and mentors
• Contribute to wider school life and professional development
What We’re Looking For
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or on track to achieve QTS
• ECTs / Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs welcome)
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching
