Catering Experience and a Qualification such as an SVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent is essential for this post.
In these Mobile Catering Supervisor posts, you would be responsible for all activities in the kitchen and its surrounds including cooking, organisation and supervision of food service.
Supervising staff working in the kitchen.
You must be aware of HACCP Procedures - completing required paperwork including electronic returns.
Understanding dietary and nutritional needs.
Duties may also include transporting and serving of meals, general kitchen and dining room duties (for example washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables), cleaning of the kitchen, and its surround.
We currently have three permanent vacancies to join our team within High Schools or commercial units throughout Fife as and when required:
The 3 posts provide a variety of hours per week as required, working on either a 38-week or a 52-week contract.
You will earn a competitive salary of £25,885.80 to £28,175.91 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:
£13.79 per hour to start, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
Pay is 4 weekly.
Travel expenses will be paid – we pay 45 pence per mile to staff using their own car.

Training on all In House systems will be provided.

The Person
Catering Experience or a Qualification such as an SVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent is essential for this post.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
Provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a Team.
Have the ability to travel throughout Fife within a limited timescale.
You will be required to attend Induction Training before starting in post.
