Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

St Laurence's Primary School is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis for 32.5 hours.

The successful candidate will: Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with KS2 curriculum, Create a supportive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment and work collaboratively will colleagues, parents and carers, with evidence of consistently good/outstanding practice to join our team.

We are looking for a dedicated and committed classroom practitioner who is passionate about teaching and learning and has high expectations of themselves and the children they teach. The post will be to work in KS2 Y5 for 5 days per week.

We are looking for someone who:

• is an exemplary classroom practitioner who can inspire and motivate our children.
• is dynamic, flexible and creative and has a clear understanding of effective practice
• has proven ability to improve teaching and learning and raise standards
• has excellent interpersonal skills
• is keen to participate in the wider life of the school.
• Has an experience of leadership of a core curriculum subject, in particular mathematics.
