82035 - Commercial Lead - Emergency System Restoration (ESR) Programme
Crawley (Blended working: 3 office / 2 remote)
Permanent | £94,906 + car + 3% bonus
Join UK Power Networks as a Commercial Lead and play a key role in delivering the high‑profile ESR programme across SPN, EPN and LPN regions. You'll support initial procurement through to final account, managing commercial strategy, contract performance and risk while partnering with project teams, managers and stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
What you'll do:
* Lead commercial activities across a portfolio of construction projects
* Ensure contract compliance, manage pricing, change control and dispute resolution
* Support tendering, activity schedules and commercial reporting
* Influence project delivery teams and collaborate with senior stakeholders
* Provide guidance to junior team members and contribute to rate reviews
* Partner with legal teams and advise on NEC3 and contract matters
What you'll bring:
* Strong quantity surveying experience and a track record managing complex, high‑value contracts
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience (RICS/CIOB/ICES membership desirable)
* Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder‑management skills
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP
* IOSH Certificate advantageous (training available)
