You will be supporting children in Newham and the surrounding areas, helping them learn, grow, and thrive in high‑quality early years environments.Duties as Early Years Practitioner:
- Support the planning and delivery of play‑based and structured learning activities
- Assist with the supervision, care, and well‑being of children aged 0–5
- Help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment
- Encourage positive social, emotional, and physical development
- Contribute to observations and learning records when required
- Support children with personal care needs where necessary
- Work collaboratively with staff and contribute to wider setting activities during longer‑term placements
- Previous experience working with children in an early years or nursery environment
- Understanding of the EYFS framework and early child development
- Ability to build positive and supportive relationships with young children
- Patience, creativity, and strong communication skills
- Adaptable across different early years settings and routines
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Willingness to undertake relevant training and professional development
