Murphy is recruiting for a Security Administrator
- part time to work with the Security Team based at Ollerton. This is a part time role, ideally 20-25 hours a week, with flexibility on hours and days. Operating in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada and the USA, Murphy provides better engineered solutions to infrastructure sectors including transportation, water, power and natural resources. So that our teams out on projects can run smoothly it is vital that we have robust support functions in place.

This part time role supports the administration of security related services for the company’s project delivery teams. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, confident using software applications and comfortable communicating with both internal and external customers/employees.

A day in the life of a Murphy Security Administrator
- Maintain a professional level of service and support at all times
- Manage a volume of telephone and e-mail enquiries as well as queries made in person and via shared email inboxes, ensuring and timely close out responses
- Administration and coordination of company property loss and theft reports:
- Liaise with Project Teams, Murphy Plant and/or IT Services to gather and record company asset information
- Carry out initial investigations into losses and report high value losses to the Security Manager
- Process replacement IT equipment
- Provide advice and guidance on preventative security measures and controls
- Liaise with police authorities and industry stakeholders to record asset information onto national police/industry databases (i.e. plant serial numbers etc)
- Provide support with security service requests to arrange Security guarding and CCTV site surveys
- Receive and maintain accurate records of project site locations
- Coordinate with security suppliers and project delivery teams to ensure the timely mobilisation and demobilisation of security services
- Maintain and distribute emergency contact and escalation information for security suppliers for both security guarding and CCTV systems
- Review of CCTV/ Incident reports and liaise with project delivery teams/Murphy estate to resolve any issues
- Request, collate, review and record supplier KPI’s
- Maintain clear and organised digital and physical filing systems.
- Carry out all work in accordance with health and safety and any other legal requirements
- Ensure compliance with the Company policies and procedures and uphold a high level of confidentiality and integrity
- Carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required to support the objectives of the Security department

- Construction industry or plant hire industry experience is advantageous.
