Summary

Bank Medical Records Administrator
Location: KIMS Hospital, Newnham Court Way, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 5FT
Reporting to: Medical Records and SAR Lead

KIMS Hospital is looking for a Bank Medical Records Administrator to join our busy Medical Records team. This role plays a vital part in supporting patient care by ensuring medical records are accurately archived in line with hospital policy and GDPR requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the archiving, digital storage and destruction of records in line with retention policies

- Responsible for maintaining and developing the medical records archive. Moving medical records to utilise all available storage.

- Follow correct procedures to identify, track and archive records

- Maintain record archive database

About You:

- Highly organised with strong attention to detail

- Comfortable working with confidential information and electronic systems

- Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication and administrative skills

This is a great opportunity to work flexibly on a Bank contract whilst being part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team within Kent's largest independent hospital.
