Summary

Female Support Worker

Pay rate: £14 per hour and £11 per hour for sleeps
Shift Pattern: 8am - 2pm and 2pm - 8pm and 8pm - 8am sleeps


We are looking for caring, reliable and confident Support Workers to join a small team supporting an individual who lives at home with their family in Hull. This person has complex clinical Mental Health needs,— and they rely on a consistent team who truly understand them.

What really matters, though, is supporting someone who is fun, active, and enjoys a structured routine.This person is moving into their own home after a long period in hospital, and they’ll be supported by a dedicated team providing 1:1 care day and night.The role is focused on helping them settle into the community, encouraging independence, and providing safe, consistent support..

What you’ll be doing

As a Support Worker, you’ll play an important role in helping this individual live safely, comfortably, and in a way that reflects their preferences. Your day might include:

  • Providing high‑quality support on a 1:1 basis
  • Creating opportunities for meaningful activities at home and in the community
  • Encouraging social interaction and promoting emotional wellbeing
  • Supporting communication in the way that works best for them
  • Helping with routine household tasks to maintain a calm, organised environment

This is a role where your presence genuinely makes a difference every day.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for people who already have experience in:

  • Behaviours that may be perceived as challenging
  • Mental Health support

Just as important is your ability to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and build positive, trusting relationships.
